BSCD was founded by four Black Concordia students who started it over limited funding, thin networks, and the pressure to take a traditional path.
Today it is run by a team of student executives, and it is where a large, diverse group of students meets the companies who want to hire them, every single semester.

Black students, alumni, and professionals from across Concordia, plus the sponsoring companies. Past editions have drawn 120+ attendees.
Yes. Partners can host a BSCD event in their own building in Montréal, subject to verification.
Concordia is an English university, so the event runs English-first, with French support for Québec employers and students.
